I am licensed to practice engineering in the states of New York (License No. 077693

and New Jersey (License No. 39654

Mechanical Engineering from The City College of The City University of New York (1984) and Master of
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from The City University of New York  (1986).  I have over
20 years of engineering and project management experience with particular emphasis on design,
construction, commissioning and maintenance of residential, as well as industrial and commercial
properties, processes and systems for construction, manufacturing, incineration, melting, flammable,
toxic and corrosive materials storage, chemical and compressed gases industries.  My expertise includes
regulatory compliance, technical writing, process engineering and applications, material handling
equipment and plant layout, and process and building control systems.  I am thoroughly familiar with the
NFPA, NEC, IBC, BOCA, UBC, ANSI, API and numerous other international, national and local building, fire
protection, electrical and piping codes and regulations. Over the past 20 years I had inspected, evaluated,
consulted, engineered, rehabilitated or maintained several hundred residential, commercial and industrial
facilities.

Choosing the right inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet
me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment,
experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection
requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s
own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I will give it my very best effort. This
I promise you.

                                                                                                                                         Sincerely,

                                                                                                                                         Gary Shed, P.E.
